Born from three years of live workshops, the Empowered Birth Partner Workshop is now available online — so you can prepare together, at your own pace, from anywhere in the world.
Rebozo Copenhagen & Re:birth bring you and your birth partner a powerful and beautiful course — a unique blend of rebozo training, birth prep, embodied practice, and couples connection.
Both practical and deeply nourishing, this course is loaded with experiential learning you can do together at home. Hands-on techniques, birth physiology, rebozo training, breathwork, movement, and meaningful self-inquiry — all designed to bring you into alignment as a birth team.
It is designed to awaken confidence, build connection, and inspire open communication — so you walk into birth feeling truly prepared, in sync, and ready for whatever unfolds. We explore physiological birth to inspire trust in the process, and offer many tools to support the flow of labor. Whether you're planning a home birth or a hospital birth, with or without medication — everything in this course can be adapted for your journey. Every birth is valid, and every couple deserves to feel empowered in it.
The passage to parenthood is profound — and birth partners deserve real preparation too. We love holding space for parents-to-be, and for all who will be standing at the threshold of birth alongside someone they love.
The course is suitable for couples at any stage, but optimal for those in the third trimester. Many techniques (massage and rebozo especially) can be used throughout pregnancy and beyond into postpartum. The birth partner does not have to be romantically affiliated — any chosen support person is welcome.

Introduction Meet your guides, set your intention, and prepare your space. You'll learn what to gather, how to use this course together, and what to expect on the journey ahead.
Birth Theory Birth is physical, emotional, psychological, and transformational. You'll explore the beliefs and stories that shape your expectations of birth, the history and evolution of the birth partner's role, and how modern partners can become active, empowered participants. Through the Birth Partner Archetypes exercise you'll discover the unique strengths you each bring — and dive into the physiology of pain, hormones, fear, and flow.
Embodied Birth Prep This chapter moves beyond birth as a concept and into the body. Together you'll practice grounding techniques, partner-supported movement, breathing patterns, labor positions, hip squeezes, massage, acupressure, and comfort measures — learning how to create a supportive birth environment and how to move through labor together with greater confidence and connection.
Rebozo Theory Explore the wisdom and tradition behind the Rebozo — a woven Mexican shawl used by midwives and families for generations. You'll understand the physiological mechanisms that make it so effective, its impact on the nervous system, oxytocin, pain perception, and pelvic mobility — and honor the cultural roots and families who have kept this tradition alive.
Rebozo Techniques From theory into practice. A wide range of hands-on Rebozo techniques for pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum — including manteada sifting, suspension techniques, hands-and-knees support, side-lying, standing positions, birth ball work, supported squats, and Rebozo-assisted pushing positions. Both partners will leave feeling confident and ready.
Closing Ceremony A space to land, reflect, visualize, and integrate everything you've experienced together — sealed with a closing ritual you can carry with you beyond the screen. You'll step away feeling clear, connected, and ready.

Rebozo SpecialistAdriana is the founder of Rebozo Copenhagen and a leading voice in traditional rebozo education across Europe. Originally from Mexico City and based in Copenhagen since 2012, her passion for the rebozo was born during her own first pregnancy, when just five to ten minutes of rebozo work each day transformed her experience of pain, sleep, and connection with her partner. Since founding Rebozo Copenhagen in 2019, she has trained hundreds of families and birth professionals, while working directly with artisan families in Mexico to keep this living tradition alive. Hannah is a doula, birth photographer, bodyworker, and birth educator based in Copenhagen and North Zealand, DK. Her journey into birth work began with the birth of her own son in 2020 — an experience so transformative it redirected her life completely. Since then she has had the honor of supporting nearly a hundred families through pregnancy, birth, and/or postpartum, weaving together evidence-based knowledge, somatic practice, and deep intuitive presence. She brings warmth, groundedness, and a holistic approach to everything she creates. Learn more at re-birth-doula.com and @_re.birth.doula_ on instagram

Your birth. Your team. Your way.
The preparation your birth deserves.
This course is the heart of your birth preparation — bringing you together as a team, grounded, connected, and equipped with powerful hands-on tools. For those who want to explore the fuller landscape, we encourage you to also look into:
The stages of labor - Your local birth system and how to navigate it - Evidence-based information on protocols and interventions - Cascade of Interventions - Advocacy, consent, and building your birth plan - Preparing for unexpected turns, including cesarean birth - Processing personal fears, patterns, and desires around birth - Processing previous birth trauma - Postpartum, infant feeding, and newborn care
We encourage working with a local doula to take your prep even deeper. The more prepared you feel, the more freely you can surrender to the experience.
