‘I knew since getting pregnant that I wanted my birth photographed. It is such a major event in my life that won’t happen too many times, and a unique event in my baby’s life. I thought ‘’Well, the worst thing that can happen is that I will simply delete them or forget them if I don’t like them, and I cannot make them happen if I wish I had photos afterwards.” So we hired Hannah as our doula and birth photographer. It was a great decision for us. I didn’t even notice Hannah taking photos during the birth; it was subtle and smooth. And what we got are gorgeous, well-shot artistic moments of strength, of the collaboration with my partner, of the difficulty, and the victory that ensued.
